Every year, Salcha Fire and Rescue Inc hosts an awards dinner to thank and recognize our volunteers and their family's contribution to EMS in our community. We also recognize two responders for outstanding performance above and beyond the call of duty.

Our Hosts

This year's event was held at the Salcha Senior's Center and was hosted by SFR Inc President Jim Skotnicki and Chief of Operations Rob Weathers.

Girl Talk Guy Talk

It was an otherwise quiet time for old friends to get together and catch up.

George and Amy Jeannette and Butch

We welcomed our guests, including life members George Viltrakis and Jeannette Hansen and their families

Denise and AJ Prime Rib

The main course, Salchaket Roadhouse prime rib, was donated by owners AJ and Denise Thompson.

Will's Surprise Cake Time to Eat

The volunteers rounded out the menu by bringing side dishes and desserts...including Will's Surprise Casseroles and a beautiful cake.

After dinner, we individually thanked the volunteers, their spouses and family members.
